FaZe Clan Supports Grace Van Dien

Hours after Nordan “Rain” uploaded a video of their conversation, which “terribly went wrong,” FaZe Clan declared its support for Grace Van Dien, aka Bluefille.

Van Dien exited the room in an emotional state at the end of the video and threatened to quit the esports group if it was made public. Van Dien’s request seemed to be disregarded by Rain, who then uploaded the video, and clips from it have since gone viral on social media. In response, FaZe Clan’s official Twitter account has come out and condemned the most recent mistreatment of its newest recruit, making it quite apparent that it supports Van Dien.

The statement reads: “FaZe is no stranger to contrasting viewpoints and passionate opinions on the future of the brand. Recruitment has always drawn that out. But make no mistake, the mistreatment of our newest member is in no way OK. Grace joined in hopes to bring her voice to FaZe & we stand by her.”

The Grace Van Dien-FaZe Rain conflict has drawn the attention of the streaming community for the past week, with many people taking sides. For context, Rain recently blasted FaZe Clan’s choice to sign the actress and has been at odds with the organization’s higher management for some time. The two recently traded personal insults, which caused the online argument to worsen. In her response to Van Dien’s slurs that Rain didn’t understand what a trickshot was, Rain even mentioned how she nearly overdosed on stream.

The two met together and spoke with each other on camera in an attempt to end their dispute, but the conversation swiftly degenerated. Van Dien expressed her anger before leaving the meeting, even saying she would leave FaZe Clan if the video was made public. Nevertheless, Rain posted the footage to YouTube and added the following comment in response to FaZe Clan’s tweet about backing Van Dien: “Ratio shut ur dumb*** up Cbass”
