He saw someone using 'xxxDrifterxxx' in one of his Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear matches and decided he liked 'Drifter'. However, it was taken when he tried to apply it to his Xbox Live account, so he used a different iteration of it. His name made several more shifts across platforms for the same reason until it became 'Drift0r.'

Drift0r played on a Nintendo Entertainment System from when he was quite small and got into PC gaming towards the end of elementary school. He started playing on the Xbox during high school

He started out as a YouTube in 2010 and transitioned to streaming on justin.tv as well about a year later.

Drift0r is known for his Let’s Play’s, game commentaries, political discussions, his openness about men’s health concerns, as well as a variety of other topics. He is also known for his high-level fps skills.
