He originally adopted the gamertag 'InnocentsJR' in 2014 after his brother passed away, as Innocents had been his brother's tag. he later removed the JR.

Innocents has been playing video games since 2008, with his first game being Call of Duty 4.

His brother had been a professional gamer and Innocents had always dreamed of following in his brother's footsteps. In his first year of college, he finally decided to go for it and dropped out to pursue fulltime streaming. He began streaming on Twitch in August 2018 and grinded long hours to ensure that he consistently remained at the top of the leaderboards. This enabled him to sign with Ghost Gaming by that November. He parted with them in February 2020.

He is a top-tier controller player who can hold his own against other top streamers, having killedthe likes of Ninja, Tfue and more in-game.
