Lirik.

When Lirik was young, he was first exposed to video games through watching his brother play Doom on a PC. His preferred platform for playing video games is still the PC. He discovered Justin.tv in 2009 and began occasionally watching Towelliee's World of Warcraft (WoW) streams. They started playing duos together as they got to know one another, and Lirik even started modding for him. While still a college student in 2011, Lirik expressed interest in streaming his own content and sought Towelliee's advice. He discovered that he really enjoyed streaming, which motivated him to develop his channel. When Towelliee finished streaming for the day as he started to take streaming more seriously, he would request permission to notify his followers that he would be streaming.

Lirik discovered that, after accumulating a sufficient number of subscribers, he was earning the same amount of money as he would in an entry-level position in the computer science industry. Additionally, he discovered live streaming to be compulsive. Even though it was challenging for him to balance streaming with getting his degree, he believed that the price of lower grades was well worth the trade-off. On May 15, 2015, Lirik earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and went on to pursue a full-time career as a streamer.
