I had a big head when I was younger, and that is where Scoom originated, it was a made-up word that "meant" big head," he claimed on Twitter.

Scoom used to compete with his father and brother in video games on the Sony SEGA owned by his family. But he didn't start playing games seriously until they got a PC when he was around thirteen years old, starting with Red Alert. In 2004, a few months after Call of Duty 1 was released, he purchased his own PC. He got addicted right away. He enjoyed playing a variety of games in his free time, including basketball and football, aside from gaming. Once he discovered CoD, though, that slowed down because he then moved on to World of Warcraft, League of Legends, and other popular games.

In April 2015, he started playing ARK on Twitch for fun after some of his in-game friends told him they thought he was funny. He made the decision to continue after gaining viewers over time. In July 2015, he subsequently received Twitch partnership. Due to how small the ARK community was in November 2015, he moved on to include other content, such as H1Z1. In March 2017, he continued to upload H1Z1 content to YouTube, but shortly after, he switched to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. He quickly attained the top position on the global leaderboards. Team Liquid became interested in him as a result, and he joined them in August 2017 as a member of their professional team. In July 2018, he was benched from Team Liquid. He formally left the team in October of that year and joined Team Reciprocity. Team Reciprocity declared their pro-PUBG team's dissolution in December 2019, and on March 30, 2020, he announced his retirement from PUBG in favor of full-time streaming.

He doesn't always use polite language.
