When Seapeekay was very young, his grandmother first introduced him to video games because he used to play on her Atari when he went to visit her. When he was seven years old, he received a PlayStation 1 and Tomb Raider 1 as a gift and got his own first gaming console. He spent his childhood playing football in his free time until he was about 13 years old, in addition to playing video games. When he was 14 years old, he started playing golf and continued for three years. He lived in Scotland, Wales, England, and other locations in the UK as he was growing up. He went on to work a full-time job in sales after completing his course at The Cornelius Vermuyden School and Arts College. Then, in March 2016, he left his job to focus solely on content creation. Additionally, he writes content for Halcyon Media.

After watching his friend create content for a few years, he was motivated to try making his own YouTube videos. Around 2011, he began to upload content to YouTube, but the platform was shut down. In October 2012, he then started uploading to his current channel. He saw YouTube as a way to combine his love of comedy and gaming, which was another major motivator for him. He created his Twitch account in January 2013, per TwitchStats. PewDiePie shouted him out in September 2013, which significantly aided in the expansion of his YouTube channel. In April 2016, he received Twitch partnership. In March 2022, he joined Dream SMP.
