Snip3down grew up playing video games such as Super Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda and GoldenEye 077 on his Nintendo 64. After going to his friend's house in high school and playing Halo with him on his Xbox, he caught the fps bug and asked his parents to buy him both an Xbox and Halo. Fortunately for him, they were nice enough to comply.

Snip3down began streaming on Twitch in December 2014, after completing college and deciding to supplement his income with content creation.
