Zironicdk's first video game was Quake II, which was released in 1997, and he went on to play other first-person shooter games such as various Call of Duty and Counter-Strike titles, as well as World of Warcraft and a few others. He began playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege (R6) with a friend from Counter-Strike (CS) in 2015, while R6 was still in closed beta. However, neither of them were impressed and quickly returned to CS. Despite this, they decided to purchase R6 when it was officially released in order to give it a one-week trial run. During that week, he played a game in which he threw C4 at a wall, unintentionally killing two or three people. This feature, along with the high skill cap, sold him on the game, and he has played it ever since. He worked as a firefighter for three years after high school before going into construction as a pipeliner for about 712 years. He continued to work part-time as a construction worker until early 2019, when he earned enough to transition to full-time streaming.

During Year 1 Season 1 of competitive R6 in 2016, he was invited to join a pro-team, which he did before switching to a better team later in the season. Around the same time, he began streaming. This team was purchased by Playing Ducks, marking his official entry into the international professional R6 scene. In 2017, he left the pro-scene to cast and become a Star Player for Ubisoft for the remainder of the year. zironicdk acted as a caster and analyst at his first event, the 2017 Summer Assembly in Finland, and has continued to do so since then.
