It was the name of his father's childhood dog, whom he had rescued.

When he was younger, he took up soccer seriously, even giving up skateboarding to avoid injuring himself. He also spent a lot of time with his friends playing video games and practicing his art skills. When he was in his teens, he began participating in and winning online CoD Search and Destroy (S&D) contests, which motivated him to participate in LAN tournaments as soon as he could, and it was during his first year that he became involved with professional Call of Duty (CoD) tournaments. His soccer abilities earned him a college scholarship, but he was seriously injured shortly after starting college, forcing him to take a break while he healed. As a result, he shifted his attention to CoD. During his first year of college, he worked in various sections of his local Shop Rite before becoming a full-time professional.

During a break from soccer, he heard about a CoD LAN event taking place nearby. ZooMaa and a few friends decided to enter the first tournament, and his team finished twelfth. This drew the attention of Replays, who hired him in 2013 for Denial eSports alongside StuDyy and SaintsRF. The following year, they won first place in the UMG Dallas tournament. He dropped out of college in early 2015 to join FaZe Clan after they gave him an ultimatum to do so. He intends to return to college after he retires from professional gaming.
