Twitch Banned Kai Cenat

Following his consumption of edibles during a live broadcast and subsequent collapse in front of thousands of viewers, popular streamer Kai Cenat has been banned from Twitch.

One of Twitch’s most popular content creators, Kai Cenat overcame off competitors like xQc to take the title of most-subscribed broadcaster in 2022. Since then, Kai has dominated the space, working with well-known figures like rapper Blueface and even other significant internet superstars like The Sidemen. On January 26, 2023, the streamer was abruptly banned from Twitch, though it’s unclear why.

This most recent information follows a broadcast when Kai passed out on stream after ingesting edibles on January 24 even though no official reason for the ban has yet been revealed. The Twitch Community Guidelines do prohibit the use of drugs while streaming, and they define “self-destructive behavior” as any action that involves “dangerous use of alcohol or other substances that lead to being incapacitated.”

Since then, Kai has addressed his suspension in a humorous tweet, saying, “Banned before Subathon, I haven’t even been live. GG.” Although the duration of Kai’s suspension is currently unknown, it appears that he will have to participate in the subathon at a later time.
