LuluLuvely Departs From NRG

After nearly three years with the esports team NRG, Twitch streamer and content creator Lulu has formally parted ways with the team.

A well-known Twitch streamer, Lulu started her career there in November 2016 and rapidly racked up 1.3 million followers. Although she occasionally dabbles in other battle royale and first-person shooter games like Fortnite and VALORANT, the content creator is best renowned for her gameplay in Apex Legends. Lulu got a contract with NRG, her first esports organization, in November 2019. Lulu represented NRG in a number of Twitch Rivals Apex competitions after joining the organization. Most notably, while still working for NRG, Lulu finished second at the Samsung Odyssey Invitational in 2021.

Lulu said on November 1, 2022, that she has decided not to sign a new contract with her long-standing company. The content creator looked on her experience at NRG with fondness despite the fact that she is leaving the firm.

Lulu said; “I have decided not to re-sign with NRG. Thank you for welcoming me into the family and for all the opportunities, experiences, and memories over the last three years.”

The popular Minecraft streamer and DreamSMP member Sapnap joined NRG as a content creator and co-owner just a few days before to the release of this news. Despite Lulu possibly leaving the company, NRG still seems committed to expanding its burgeoning portfolio of content creators.

It is unknown if Lulu would look for a new company to represent given that NRG was her first recognized esports league. Lulu will continue to stream independently on her Twitch channel for the time being.
