Amouranth Take On Pokimane Opinions On Kick

Imane “Pokimane” and Felix “xQc”‘s argument has been the talk of the streaming community. Recently signed Kick artist Kaitlyn “Amouranth” has shared her opinion.

The former Twitch streamer thinks Pokimane is trying to gain influence and maintain her relevance by bringing up Kick in the clamour around xQc’s $100 million deal with the platform. Pokimane discussed Kick’s ties to the cryptocurrency gaming platform Stake while live on her channel. Amouranth, who signed a contract the day after xQc, thinks the Moroccan-Canadian star is trying to gain influence by bringing up the subject. Amouranth is heard stating the following in a video that has been gaining popularity on social media: “I don’t think this is true. I think the reason that she mentioned him was because she was trying to farm clout and relevancy in an era where she doesn’t really have any at the moment. Like the Twitch base, you know? Because she has been AFK so much.”

The streamer xQc’s $100 million Kick agreement has generated a lot of conversation in the online community, with many people applauding him for “grabbing the bag.” Kick is owned by the same folks as Stake.com, a contentious cryptocurrency gambling website that was recently blocked in Greece for publishing illegal content. As a result, some of his fellow video makers have criticised Kick. Although one of the co-founders of Kick, Ed Craven, has spoken out against this characteriszation, the association has led some individuals, such as Pokimane, to openly criticise Kick. After claiming that switching to the platform would “compromise her principles,” the former Twitch streamer has also recently faced a lot of backlash.

Amouranth claims that the Twitch star, despite not streaming as frequently as she once did, has been embroiled in the controversy in order to maintain a regular stream of viewers: “So she just comes back and involves herself in the drama to be part of the discussion still, so she can keep getting views and traveling and not really streaming much.”

Amouranth was adamant that Pokimane wasn’t the target of her hatred and praised the streamer for what she was doing: “It’s smart, like, I’m not trying to hate on her. It’s just, I think that’s the actual reason.”
