Andrea Botez DJ Set

Andrea Botez, a Canadian chess player and Twitch streamer, stunned her audience by performing her first-ever EDM set as a DJ at a small party.

Andrea Botez, 21, is a well-known chess player who won numerous competitions as a kid before starting to stream on Twitch in 2016. Since then, Andrea has persisted in playing chess on the Twitch channel she shares with her sister, where she has amassed over 1 million followers. In December 2022 at Ludwig’s Mogul Chessboxing, she made her combat sports debut in boxing as well. In a contentious match, she was finally defeated by Dina Belenkaya by checkmate.

Alongside other musicians Justin Kan and NoahJ, Andrea made her DJing debut on June 15 in a small gathering nicknamed jokingly “Botez Underground” in Los Angeles. Although she arrived late to the party, it appears that her set was a major hit with partygoers because she shared a brief video chronicling the evening. Her beats weren’t horrible, we must confess, and it appears that the audience enjoyed themselves. Overall, it appears that Andrea has taken a positive first step in the EDM industry.

However, it appears that she spent all night preparing for the party with her sister, fellow chess player and socialite Alexandra Botez. However, everything went off without a hitch at the occasion, so perhaps staying up all night playing loud music over the speakers paid off. She wouldn’t be the only female influencer to pursue DJing; Sommer Ray and Charly Jordan, two hugely popular influencers and “fitfluencers,” are DJs as well as YouTubers.

This is Andrea Botez’s most recent action since she rejected the notion of a hot tub stream with Indiefoxx and Mizkif back in May.
