Dr Disrespect Reveals Why He Has Not Signed With Kick

The renowned streamer Dr Disrespect has once more addressed rumours that he is joining Kick after requesting a $50 million contract.

Kick is creating significant waves in the streaming industry by recently inking lucrative deals with big names like xQc and Amouranth. Many are speculating as to whether Dr. Disresect will follow suit. The two-time announced his terms and requested $50M if he were to pack up and go from YouTube to the competing platform following xQc’s historic $100M contract with Kick. The two-time champion has increased his contract demands while also providing some further explanation for why he hasn’t moved yet, even though Kick has now announced they are in negotiations with Doc’s side.

On June 26, the anniversary of his enigmatic Twitch suspension in 2020, Dr. Disrespect discussed maybe migrating to Kick. When questioned about the reason behind his demand for a portion of xQc’s deal, Doc initially made a joke about not knowing “how much money” they had before becoming a little more serious. Doc claims that the main elements at work are his ongoing obligations and commercial endeavours, which make a Kick offer a little bit more challenging.

“I’m trying to assess it between maybe streaming just three days a week, that plays a factor. Owning a future billion-dollar game studio, that plays into my time. Black Steel Bourbon, worldwide, couple years, a global sensation,” he said. 

The FPS streaming phenomenon continued that he must “balance everything out,” but he emphasised that if Kick wants him right away, the $50M deal is on the table, and he’s willing to accept it.
