Ethan Klein Says Agency Stole $600k From Him

BBTV, according to Ethan Klein, has allegedly stolen more than $600,000 from him. The influencer explains how and why this happened as well as how other influencers have experienced a similar situation after he brought it to the public’s attention.

YouTuber and content creator Ethan Klein has criticized the BBTV agency, alleging that it “stole” $620,000 from the revenue from his channel. In a recent YouTube video, Klein made the announcement and explained how, after detecting problems with his contract with BBTV, he called the business to voice his concerns.

He stated; “The only way I could actually get paid is if I connected to a network and YouTube sent the money to them and then they sent us the money. That was the only way.”

Klein added that when she called BBTV representatives, they were allegedly less than supportive and occasionally defensive. In a subsequent video, Klein disclosed that other other content producers had gotten in touch with him and shared their own problems. Specifically, how their own contracts with BBTV have caused them to lose money as well.

MoistCr1TiKaL, a well-known YouTuber, also commented on the situation, saying, “oh yeah, that is concerning, I did see that… H3H3 posted about how BBTV stole $620,000 from them over a course of multiple years.”

Klein expanded on his own experiences and worries after reading the other replies. He said; “My fear is that they don’t have the money and that these guys are on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. I’ve been reading over the contract and my remedies are not that much. I could unlink immediately without giving a 30-day notice if I was afraid that they were going to go bankrupt. You know what, the punishment for terminating it is that I have to pay them back the $10,000 signing bonus they gave me five years ago. So I said, you know what, I’ll happily owe them $10,000 to get out of this because every cent I’m earning now is still being funneled to them for the next 2 months.”

After all was said and done, Klein finally acknowledged, “I’d have to be the biggest idiot ever to sit here and allow them after all this to keep collecting my money.” Time will tell what Klein intends to do with his connections to BBTV, but we’ll be sure to let you know if there are any further developments.
