Paymoneywubby Gave His Thoughts About Kai Cenat Riot

In a recent Twitch stream, Dennis “Paymoneywubby” discussed the Kai Cenat violence in New York. In Union Square, a well-known Twitch streamer tried to give away a PlayStation 5, but it devolved into a chaotic scene that some are calling a riot.

Although not everyone agrees with that label, the streamer was in police custody, and the New York police have said that charges will be made. Paymoneywubby had the same views on this circumstance as other streams did. According to the streamer, Kai Cenat allegedly sought the attention and that it was a “smart business move” for the streamer. “Kai’s comfortable building an audience who’s okay with stuff like this.”

Paymoneywubby announced on his August 4, 2023 stream that he will “speak the silent part loud” regarding the Kai Cenat violence in Union Square, New York. It has been discussed by many people, including HasanAbi and xQc. “Kai wants this publicity. And if I did this, my publicity, people in my audience would be very mad at me. Right? But Kai’s audience caused this.”

The Twitch streamer implied that because Kai Cenat’s supporters were responsible for the violence in New York, they approve of this behavior and this new incident won’t bother them. “This isn’t a bad look for them! This is publicity, that gets more people who like this shit to follow anyway. This is a good move, businesswise – I’m saying the quiet part loud – this is a good business move for Kai, because Kai’s comfortable building an audience that’s okay with stuff like this.”

Whether or not Paymoneywubby was being serious, he made some obvious jabs at the streamer and his audience for tolerating this kind of riot occurring in such a direct, open environment. “That’s why he’s doing this. We can sit here and criticize it, but it doesn’t make anyone change. All it is is get more people who are cool hanging off the back of a car and chasing a van for a PlayStation.”

Paymoneywubby was frank about how he felt about the circumstance. In the end, the streamer believed that it was effective in achieving its goal of drawing more attention to Kai Cenat’s stream.
