xQc Responds To Criticism

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, a streaming celebrity, has retaliated against some of the controversy surrounding his recent move to Las Vegas by calling it “crazy” to pay for happiness.

xQc has been moving around quite a bit during the past few years. After having his many residences attacked and broken into, there have occasionally been security issues. Other times, he was forced to spend a limited period of time back in Canada while his visa was being renewed. His most recent residence was in Texas, where he shared a home with Poke and other content producers. However, there was some drama when xQc ‘overstayed’ his welcome. He began searching for a new location as a result.

In his most recent transfer, xQc left Texas on August 8 for Las Vegas, declaring that he will be relocating there for the time being at least. Before he joined Adin Ross on the stream, he hadn’t even been there long.

xQc praised Adin for hanging out and said that as a result of their stream, he “smiled and laughed for the first time in a while.” However, the Twitch star responded to some of the criticisms of his relocating to Vegas and hanging out with Adin immediately after making that post on Twitter/X. “The COST for happiness is ridiculous. Anything I do that furthers me or gets me in a place that isn’t as dark as it usually is, I get major pushback from every angle. I posted that I was moving to Vegas for a while yesterday to escape it all. Do you see the response?” he said, adding a confused emoji at the end.

Given the lack of privacy and “clout chasers” that would be around him there, many fans said they didn’t think moving to Vegas was the best decision for him to make. That’s before taking into account the fact that xQc has already acknowledged having a gambling addiction. He has received criticism for other things in the past few days as well. After their “discussion” over response content, many criticized xQc for his personal jabs at Ethan Klein, while his ex-girlfriend Adept called the whole thing “embarrassing” as she fired back.
